With nearly 25 years experience across multiple industries and verticals, Sheraina began her career conducting market research for Fortune 500 companies, gaining foundational experience in branding, consumer behavior, sales, and communication. She later secured an internship with a major record label, where she supported marketing efforts for emerging and established artists through point-of-sale displays, media relations, community outreach, and focus groups, broadening her understanding of effective marketing strategies. She went on to manage Tourism Marketing & Development for a U.S.-based big-box retailer, further honing her skills in strategic messaging, visual identity and consumer engagement.
In 2006 she pivoted to work for a global gaming and hospitality operator where she gained a broad understanding of operations, providing administrative support to legal and c-suite executives. She was promoted into the HR division where she facilitated recruitment, training and worked in employee relations before securing a position that allowed her to serve as a bridge between brand, cause and community.
Sheraina's responsibilities evolved to include effective management and distribution of a
$25M budget, strategic planning, public relations, event coordination, and fostering local and national partnerships. She made significant contributions producing the Company’s annual impact report, supporting construction, sustainability, supplier diversity, and government affairs while simultaneously coordinating employee volunteer and charitable giving programs– all of which helped solidify the company’s position as a leader in social responsibility through awards and placement on top lists.
Her logistical, marketing and communication prowess was sought by network television producers for production of ad campaigns, docuseries and award shows. She began producing corporate and live events for public figures, non-profit organizations, consumer brands, concerts, sporting events, conferences and tradeshows.
She became directly responsible for the rebrand and CRM-changeover of the Silicon Valley chapter of a multinational membership organization, where she was instrumental in securing $16M in funding through digital media, storytelling, and community engagement, impacting the lives of more than 400,000 members. Overall efforts led to growth in membership, program participation, media placements, funding and revenue. While in Silicon Valley, she took Unity courses at Cogswell College where she learned how to develop worlds in augmented and virtual reality and was introduced to the world of web3, later becoming a Blockchain Council Certified NFT expert after realizing the use cases for operational efficiency across industries.
More recently, Sheraina was tapped by the commercial real estate development association where she enhanced member engagement, programmatic and community outreach efforts while keeping members apprised of regulatory and legislative issues impacting the industry at the local, state and federal level.
Now, she’s ready to shed light on individuals, organizations, and initiatives tackling some of the world’s greatest challenges through impactful storytelling.
